2024-02-20 Release Notes

• Generalize "Authorities Having Jurisdiction" Resources to include other Regulatory Bodies - Under Resources, the Authorities Having Jurisdiction screen has been changed to "Regulatory Bodies." Administrators and Resource Managers can now create resources for other types of regulatory bodies, including: homeowner associations (HOAs), utilities, and incentive administrators.
  • Job screen now includes fields for HOAs and utilities - when included and set, users will have access to info rollovers for pre-sale and post-sale notes for each of these resources, in the same way they are available for AHJs.
  • New reporting field for HOA.
• New "discounts" document template variable object - Can now output an array of individual discounts showing name and amount for each.
• Native Integration with Solo Proposals (ALPHA release) - Added new features that allow SolarNexus users to submit Solo proposal requests directly from within a Job - allowing the solution to be defined by the Solo proposal.  NOTE that these features are not yet generally available, but can be turned on for select SolarNexus clients. General availability release to come with next release. Includes:
  • Administration features to turn on and setup direct integration with the Solo Proposals platform.
  • When adding a new customer solution, can optionally make request for a Solo proposal.
  • Link provided to open Solo for that customer.
  • Edits to primary customer contact information (name, phone, email) is synch'd between systems.
  • If Solo Proposals are enabled, automatically check for user in Solo and if present, enable new user for use of Solo Proposals.
• Bug fixes and other minor improvements:
  • Sold At date now appears within the Solution of Record section in the Job Workspace.
  • Fixed issue with Installs screen filters when [all] processes are selected.
  • Fixed issue displaying current applied filters when hidden.
  • Fixed issue with Project Completion webhook not firing.
  • Fixed issue with indirect cost rates getting changed to values set in Project Settings rather than values that were set when solution was defined.
  • Fixed issue with system defined [unknown] lead source appearing as editable in some accounts.

2024-01-13 Release Notes

• New "Job Condition" filter for Sales/Installs/Tasks Screens - Can now add a new filter to any of the Tasks, Sales, and Installs screens that will allow you to quickly filter for ONLY jobs that are blocked or have issues, regardless of their current milestone.
• Refactored Price Breakdown views for Cost Item Pricing - Updated both the Price Breakdown by Cost Category and Price Breakdown by Cost Group. The cost category breakdown more clearly shows how price is assembled using the various direct and indirect costs, and accounts for new "Indirect Cost Override" feature. Percentages shown in cost category Breakdown are of the UNADJUSTED price, so its easy to see how any modifications relate to your standard pricing model defined for the services in the solution, and how significant your adjustments are. The cost group view shows the adjusted amounts, making it easy to see total resultant profit and commission for each job.
• API Enhancements - Added new features to support use of labels, and enhanced Documents listing.
  • Added a /labels endpoint to get list of defined labels.
  • Added a label query parameter to /jobs endpoint.
  • Added file_extension to documents list.
• Converting a Project from Production to Test ALSO converts associated work orders - Administrators have been able to convert jobs to a test status so that those jobs do not corrupt production data/reporting. Those conversions did not previously affect any work orders associated. Now if you convert a job to being a test job, SolarNexus will also automatically convert any associated work orders to the test status.
• Bug fixes and other minor improvements:
  • When inactivating a user that has designated milestone notifications (i.e. notify when a deadline is exceeded), include optional ability to reassign those notifications to another selected user. This updates all milestone definitions with the specified new user. 
  • Fixed issue in cost group breakdown view that showed incorrect amount of the total commission attributable to each group.
  • Fixed issue with cost item sync in solution revisions where an items cost had been updated in the Company Catalog since the original solution was sold, and its cost was then updated in the revision, making it off from the contracted amount. Now the sync ONLY updates the cost from Company Catalog for items that are new or modified in the solution revision.
  • System failed to convert a work order job to a test job because it was associated with a production project. Added a user message explaining that a work order associated with a production job cannot be converted to a test job. 
  • Fixed error on new users toggling workspace sections.
  • Fixed rounding error in calculation of change order amount.
  • Fixed issue viewing a deferred project.
  • Fixed issue in /participants API when search term is empty.
